Info: Visit this group exhibition, inspired by the concept ‘art in a tea cup’, nestled in the historic Fish Creek Railway Station building on the Rail Trail – an eclectic mix of little treasures. Participating artists: Jane Power, Sandy Abberton, Rosie Lyons, Yianni Banikos, Sue Quinn, Kathleen O’Neill, Janie Frith, Gayle Bourke Shepherd, Kim McDonald, Anne Miller, Bev Mitchell, Walter Birkenbeil, Diane Farmer, Zetta Cant, Anda Banikos.

Mini Macramé Workshop with Ramona Barry

When: 1.00pm – 3.00pm
Where: The Hub (between the Post Office and Pharmacy Plus)
Cost: $45

Info: By combining a few simple knots you can create your own intricately patterned jewellery, bags, belts, mats, decorations, plant hangers and so much more. Learn the basic building blocks in this fun mini macramé workshop. Suitable for beginners and experienced crafters alike. All materials and knot guide provided.

Needle Felt Workshop with Ramona Barry

When: 10.00am – 12.00pm
Where: The Hub (between the Post Office and Pharmacy Plus)
Cost: $45

Needle felting is perfect for creating cute embellishments, wearable art, sculptural pieces and warm and fuzzy decorations. Participants will receive their own set of needles, felting block, roving and printed notes in this wild and woolly workshop.

Info: David Lyons from the Australian Tea Cultural Seminar will talk tea – from what it is (and what it’s not) to how to brew up that perfect cuppa. David has more than two decades of experience in the tea industry and will bring his passion for tea culture and lifelong learning to the Tea Cosy Festival.

Tea, Cheese & Chocolate Experience with The London Drum

When: 1.00pm – 2.30pm

Info: Join The London Drum owners Kristy and Debbie as they guide you through this tea pairing experience. You will experience three tea and cheese pairings followed by three tea and chocolate pairings, all chosen for their abilities to complement one another. Some of the pairings may be quite surprising!

SATURDAY 23 MAY 2020
Bendigo Bank Market Day

When: 10.00am – 3.00pm
Where: Village Green, Tennis Courts, Rail Trail
Info: A range of stalls showcasing the work of local artisans and producers, as well as food stalls and some trash and treasure. Bendigo Bank roving mascot Piggy and face painting will help to keep the kids happy, plus entertainment by Ron The Magician (11.00am) and Invy Horn Jam (throughout the day).
