


Bushtukka Tea Brews – Cassie Fisher Patterson
Explore the benefits of native edible and medicinal plants with our medicinal bushtukka brews. Learn to grow and harvest with seasons and the benefits of the infused leaves for wellbeing, participants will learn about each plant and decide what brew they would want to make and enjoy with demonstration and presentation on numerous varieties.
Cassie Fisher Patterson is a Djaara (Dja Dja Wurrung) artist, jeweller and fashion designer, master weaver bushtukka woman and cultural educator. She is WILD BLAK and ARTS will inspire and unite.
Fees from this workshop go to Cassie’s wildlife rehabilitation project, building aviaries, feeding and medical aid for animals and birds, planting native flora for environmental conservation for future generations of animals and people.
Cassie will also be presenting a Weaving Native Grass Tea Coasters workshop on Saturday 23 – catch them both!
