Aileen Brown, linocut artist, is a recognised Melbourne print maker on the Australian national scene with many solo exhibitions since 1986 and some book
illustrations. Her works are found in many print collections such as Bendigo Regional Gallery, State Libraries of Queensland, Victoria and New South Wales,Museum of Melbourne, Deakin and Melbourne University, and National Library of Australia. Aileen has been a prolific printmaker since the 1980s.

Aileen brings her exceptional skills to the Festival for this special workshop.

Each participant will print an edition of 10 linocuts – using the reduction method with two or three colours.
